The Röhsska Museum in Gothenburg, Sweden, has purchased one of my painted, monochrome brooches for their collections. I am delighted that this brooch now has a new home at this fantastic museum.

The exhibition of jewellery and textile tutors’ work at Morley College Gallery in London is up and running for another two weeks. In addition to the new work mentioned in the previous post I also have some pendants and earings for sale. These are simpler versions of my ‘museumaker’ project from 2010 and cast from Roman artefacts.

The jewellery and textile tutors at Morley College will be showing work at a new exhibition opening on the 12th of January. The exhibition will run until the 2nd of February and I will be exhibiting some new work made from resin and found objects from my residency in Scotland this summer.
I will be taking part in the Chocolate Factory Winter Open Studios this year. The studios are based between Stoke Newington and Dalston and will be open on Sat 3rd and Sun 4th of December between 11.00 a.m and 6.00 p.m. If you don’t know the area very well we’re nearby Stoke Newington Church Street with it’s many nice shops and cafes, and pubs. We are also very close to Stoke Newington Farmers’ Market which will be open on the Saturday morning. For further information and directions you can visit the studios’ website or the studio’s facebook page. I will be selling lots of things suitable for Christmas gifts as well as showing some current work in progress and some older work will be available at reduced prices! Other exhibitors include the brilliant ceramists Agneta Regel Deleu and Akiko Hirai and textiles by Vanessa Rolf.
